About Sridhar
Hello
I am tickled, (pleasantly, of course) that you are visiting here, wanting to know more about this blog and possibly about me.
A Brief Bio
Sridhar is a IT Process Specialist (whatever that means – someone told me it looks cool) with a leading IT Services company. Simply put, I do two related, yet distinct things
1. Help organizations achieve their Business objectives – I work with the Business to get value out of IT and I work with IT to strengthen their internal systems and be ready to achieve what Business needs.
2. I work with individual project teams to develop processes and tools that are simple and allow them to get on with their work, while seeing that the processes follow known best practice frameworks. In some places, I am known as the maniac who insists on having people design lightweight processes themselves.
In case you are still curious, use one of the mechanisms in the right side of the blog to connect with me or head to my home page. To quickly drop a line, use this contact form (Blame the evil spam robots for not being able to give you an email address)
About This Blog
I started this blog to have meaningful conversations on on IT – its role in Business, Frameworks, Governance, management and day-to-day implementation. A conversation is a two-way street; that means, without you, the reader, the meaning is incomplete. So, please subscribe to the feed and leave comments.
This blog contains my personal opinions and thoughts and in no way reflect those of my employers (present or past). All trademarks, copyrights and other intellectual property information, noted as part of the blog belong to the respective owners.
I try out affiliate links, not because they are a revenue stream for me, but because I value and support the people behind them. If the product/service is low-cost, I will add them if I believe it will help some of you out there, even if I haven’t tried it fully and it is low-cost. For expensive ones, without trying them, I won’t vouch. Promise.
As I add/promote something on the blog, I’ll add a note here on why I am supporting them.
- Derek Huether’s a nice person and his blog has some good stuff
and I believe his PMP Flashcards are good for preparing for the exam.[Update: Derek no longer actively promotes his PMP flashcards and has removed affiliate marketing for them. There are other products from his company though]
Thanks for stopping by. Drop me a line, will ya?
